Friendship is a powerful force, transcending borders, languages, and even differences. It is the bridge that connects our hearts and minds, enabling us to understand and appreciate one another. Based on that foundation, Agatha Bunanta, the President of Photographic Society of Indonesia contacted Sefa Ulukan, the President of Photographic Arts Federation of Turkiye (TSFS) and shared the idea of having a friendship exhibition, exchanging print images between two Federation and two FIAP exhibition Center : Gallery Pandeng at Indonesia Institute of the Arts of Yogyakarta (ISI-Yogyakarta) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and TFSF-FIAP exhibition Center In Ankara, Turkiye.

This is the first event for both Exhibition Center, that we exchange print collection between us since the establishment of 1st Indonesia FIAP Exhibition Center in 2021 and TFSF-FIAP Exhibition Center.

“The Beauty of Turkey” displays total 90 images which 65 images from the members of TFSF, 15 images from FPSI and 10 images from the Institute.

This is the 1st part of the whole event where the 2nd exhibition will be held in Ankara, Turkiye on March 2025. The Indonesia part of the Friendship Exhibition displays 65 images that shows the beautiful Turkiye and 25 images show the richness of the Indonesia cultures. While the 2nd part of the exhibition in Ankara will focus on Indonesia with the theme “The Beauty of Indonesia”

Besides to strengthen the relationships between two federation, two FIAP exhibition center and two nation, the images displayed are expected to promote tourism for Indonesia and Turkiye.
